Barre Attack

Barre Attack is a standing stability, high intensity workout that is low impact on your joints.  Barre Attack is a fitness class that combines cardio, Pilates and ballet. Using a ballet barre, resistance bands, hand weights and Barre Attack balls it incorporates core work and functional exercises. The class is typically performed to 128 beat music which gets you in a comfortable rhythm, delivering a total body workout that is fun and easy to follow.

Barre Attack is a group fitness workout with all exercises taught at beginner level.  During the class the intensity will gradually be increased under the careful eye of your Thrive instructor.  At all times you can remain at the introductory pace.

The benefits of Barre Attack can vary from person to person but you should notice one or more of these changes:

  • Increased muscle tone, strength and endurance;
